Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Identity Access Management Engineer with Higher Ed experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting identity and access management (IAM) solutions for our clients. You must have experience working in a higher education environment with a strong technical background in IAM and be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Overview

At Provision IAM, we work with a variety of technologies and frameworks. As an Identity Access Security Engineer, you will be working with our Java Developers and DevOps Engineers to integrate various systems with Identity and Access Management solutions for the purpose of user account provisioning and access control.

Daily tasks include determining and creating security roles around logical groups of permissions, mapping fields and metadata between various systems, working with networking engineers to ensure connectivity, and assisting clients with troubleshooting and integration tasks with multiple systems in their network.

Skills & Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a Technical Engineering Role

• Strong technical experience with IAM, including designing, implementing, and supporting IAM solutions.

• Working knowledge or experience with one or more IGA solutions, such as midPoint, SailPoint IIQ or IdentityNow, Identity Automation RapidIdentity, Fischer Identity, Microsoft Identity Manager, etc.

• Working knowledge or experience with one or more enterprise authentication and web access management solutions, such as Shibboleth, Azure, Okta, OneLogin, Ping, etc.

• Familiarity with Internet2's InCommon Trusted Access Platform (TAP) Reference Architecture and solutions, such as midPoint, Grouper, Shibboleth, and COmanage

• Strong Proficiency in XML

• Ability to read and write in one of the following common programming languages Java, Groovy, JavaScript, C#, etc

• SQL Experience with relational databases SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, etc.

• Understanding of Windows Active Directory or LDAP

• Strong grasp of Access control techniques such as Role-Based Access Control, User Provisioning, Onboarding and SSO

• Familiarity with Linux, Mac OS and Windows

  • Scripting in Windows/Linux environment

  • Bash/Powershell

• Higher Education experience with Identity Access management is a must!

• Strong Proficiency in XML

• Ability to read and write in one of the following common programming languages Java, Groovy, JavaScript, C#, etc.

It would be great if you have some of these:

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

• Java Development

• Windows/Linux Systems Administration Experience

• Experience with deploying Java applications or experience with Apache Tomcat

• Knowledge of banking regulatory environments and risk management practices

• Familiarity with auditing and compliance methods in an enterprise environment

• Interest in DevOps, including tooling and automation

• Experience with SAML, OAuth, OpenID or other SSO

• Experience with midPoint or similar Identity Access Management application

• Java Spring Framework, Spring boot, maven and or Groovy experience

• Open-source contributions

• Experience working as part of an Agile Team

Other Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English
  

The salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000 annually.
